A little history of Tabasco sauce:

Let's go back in time to 1859. The colonel Maunsell White is making the first-ever Tabasco sauce, experimenting with new culinary techniques.

He then gifts the recipe to his banker friend E. McIlhenny who was amazed by the flavor of the sauce.

Not long after, he began to grow the first Tabasco plants on the hill of Avery Island.

After a few years, it was patented and commercialized by the McIhenny family and became famous.

Today, Tabasco sauce is sold all over the world and labeled in 22 different languages and sold in more than 180 countries.
