Calabrian black pepper seeds

The black Calabrian pepper or Diavolicchio black (Calabrian pepper) is the hot pepper of Calabrian origins par excellence and is part of the Capsicum Annum family.

It is very spicy, 25,000 - 35,000 on the Scoville scale, the plant is very productive and has about 3 cm ferrari red fruits when they reach maturity.

This variety was accidentally discovered in the field of the Diavolo Piccante farm in August 2020, famous for the production of high quality chili seeds.

Why is it called black Calabrian chilli or black diavolicchio?

The answer to this question is very simple, the fruits of the ripening plant are black instead of being green, an interesting feature, we hope to stabilize the variety in a few years, meanwhile, for those who love to experiment, we have already put the seeds on the market.

Variety widely used in spicy sauces and traditional Mediterranean dishes.

Chilli was discovered in 1494 by Doctor Chanca of Seville during the 2nd expedition of Christopher Columbus, which was also used as a medicine and was exported and consumed all over the world.
